Conference Against Human Trafficking

“Don’t let yourself be bought, you are not for sale” – this is the slogan under which the Conference Against Human Trafficking will be held at the Faculty of Social Sciences on 15 December. The special guest of the event will be human trafficking victim Ida Hridliczkowa-Krupiński.

Among the speakers at the conference will be Major Katarzyna Galla-Podsiadło from the National Border Guard Headquarters, dr Michał Kurowski, prosecutor of the Department for Organised Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor’s Office and Katarzyna Stępień, deputy director of the Department for Civil Affairs and Foreigners of the Lower Silesian Provincial Office in Wrocław. The Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław will be represented, among others, by prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Dziubka, dr Agnieszka Florczak and dr Tomasz Krawczyk. Bogusław Szpytma, Deputy Governor of Lower Silesia, will be the guest of honour at the conference.

The conference will take place on Thursday 15 December, 9.00-. Venue: A, B, C halls at the Institute of Political Science, ul. Koszarowa 3 (WNS UWr campus).

The Conference is organised by the University of Wrocław and the Czas Wolności Foundation.
