Project titled “Education for security. Results of academic research and development works”

International academic conference titled “Education for security. Results of academic research and development works” no. DNK/SP/549200/2022 is a project carried out as part of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science called “Doskonała nauka” [Perfect Education]. Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz will be a member of the Academic Committee.

Amount of funding from the Ministry of Education and Science: PLN 46 374.90

Own contribution: PLN 22 412

Total value: PLN 68 786.90

Execution time: 1 January 2023 – 31 August 2023

The main goal of the project is to organize an international academic event. Representatives of higher education institutions and other entities who lead research into national security will be able to meet during the conferences. The goal of the conference is to present the results of academic research and development works made by research teams of higher education institutions, academic institutes, research institutes, as well as other entities conducting research on the ways to improve internal security.

The conference will be organized by the Police Academy in Szczytno, which is involved in carrying out academic research, the results of which will be presented during the duration of the conference. The event will be co-organized by the country’s educational institutions.  

As part of the event, the Police Academy in Szczytno has planned a competition for research and research-and-development works that have particular importance to ensuring security in the age of modern threats.
