Recruitment Communication

Ladies and Gentlemen,

As of this year, the University of Wrocław has slightly modified its university recruitment rules (in fact, it has returned to the rules that were in force before). The new rules were clearly communicated to both candidates and recruitment committees well in advance. According to the new rules, an invitation to a candidate to submit documents (status in IRK „kandydat zakwalifikowany do złożenia dokumentów”, i.e. ‘candidate qualified to submit documents’) does not automatically mean that every such person has been accepted to study (although there is a very good chance of this). The list of persons admitted to full-time first-cycle and long-cycle studies – in accordance with the established admission limits – will be announced on 24 July. On that day, candidates who have been qualified to submit documents, submitted them and fit within the limit of places for a given faculty will receive the status „kandydat przyjęty”, i.e. ‘candidate accepted’ in IRK.

The new solutions make it possible to admit a number of candidates fully compliant with the maximum admission limits for a given field of study, significantly shorten the recruitment process and create, in many fields of study, an opportunity for a more precise estimation of the number of people who will actually begin their studies in October 2023.
