BioLOCK
On 10-12 May 2024, the first edition of the BioLOCK International Conference took place at the Faculty of Biotechnology.
The conference was a student initiative, organised in cooperation between two Student Scientific Associations of the University of Wrocław – SKN ‘Cortex’ operating at the Faculty of Biological Sciences and SKNB ‘Przybysz’ operating at the Faculty of Biotechnology.
Over the course of 3 days, 100 conference participants listened – mostly in English – to 7 keynote lectures on biotechnology and genetics, delivered by scientists both from universities and research centres in Poland (Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw) and from abroad (France, USA). There was also a poster session and 3 seminar sessions on various topics (genetics, immunology and neurobiology), as well as meetings with representatives of specialist laboratory services companies.
