Lecture by Prof. Tim Crawford
On 18 January, the Institute of Musicology at the University of Wrocław hosted Professor Tim Crawford from Goldsmiths, University of London. The professor gave a lecture entitled ‘Exploring Renaissance Music at Scale with F-TEMPO,’ during which he presented one of the F-TEMPO projects, namely automatic image recognition (Optical Music Recognition) understood as musical notation in printed form. The event was attended by employees, doctoral students and students of the Institute of Musicology at the University of Wrocław, as well as invited guests.
