Arqus workshop on microcredentials
On Wednesday, 22 October, a workshop for academic and administrative staff from the Arqus Alliance universities began, dedicated to the topic of microcredentials. The three-day event is organised by the International Office of the University of Wrocław.
The sessions are led by Elena Saviolo and professor Giorgia Bottesi from the University of Padua, as well as dr inż. Dorota Piotrowska from Łódź University of Technology.
During the workshop, participants will learn about the University of Padua’s experience with microcredentials — from both academic and administrative perspectives. The speakers will present the conceptual framework for implementing microcredentials and discuss key technical and organisational aspects, illustrated by a specific case study. The experiences of Polish universities will also be addressed, using the Łódź University of Technology as an example.
The event is organised as part of the project “Strengthening the University of Wrocław’s participation in the implementation of Arqus Alliance activities”, carried out under the Support for European Universities programme (NAWA) and funded by the European Funds for Social Development (FERS).
