Academic Legion 2025
The Academic Legion is a form of voluntary military training directed especially to the academic youth. It is a project carried out by the Ministry of Defence in partnership with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The University of Wrocław has been participating in the programme for many years, organizing the trainings for students of all universities in Wrocław.
The training has two stages. The university leads the theoretical training that ends with an exam. After this, during summer vacation, the practical training takes place in a selected military unit, in a garrison system. Participants who finish it receive the rank of reserve corporal.
If you are interested in the project of Academic Legion, please fill in the attached application form (the form can be edited in a PDF file), and bring it printed to the Institute of International and Security Studies office: ul. Koszarowa 3/21, room 208. Along with the application form, please bring the copy of your military service book (the page with the photo and the page with the confirmed oath-taking).
