Rector’s Representative
dr hab. Jan Gola – post-doctoral degree, legal advisor, research and didactic employee at the Department of Public Economic Law of the Institute of Administrative Sciences at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. His research interests include public economic law, public procurement law, competition law, and regulation of infrastructure sectors. He has held research internships in France, the United States and Canada. In 2017, he received the scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. Since 1 September 2024, he has served as the Rector’s Representative for Security.
The duties of the Rector’s Representative for Safety include:
- providing factual assistance to people affected by a safety incident or information on how to obtain it quickly and effectively;
- submitting motions to the appropriate authorities of the University of Wrocław to initiate explanatory proceedings against individuals who have committed an act that threatens the safety of students, doctoral students and employees;
- monitoring the safety situation and students’ sense of security and reacting to the safety threats reported by students, doctoral students and employees of the University of Wrocław;
- conducting promotional, informational, and educational activities in the scope of ensuring safety of students and doctoral students.
