On Friday, 27 June, Wrocław will host a global celebration of the Year of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis – the Lithuanian artist, composer, and painter. At 5:00 p.m., the baroque Aula Leopoldina at the University of Wrocław will resound with the concert Hommage à Čiurlionis. The performance will be given by the State Chamber Choir “Polifonija” from Lithuania, widely regarded as one of the finest choirs in Europe.

On Friday, 13 June 2025, the General Assembly approved the applications of the University of Leeds (United Kingdom), Newcastle University (United Kingdom), and the University of Wrocław (Poland). An international online conference entitled “From Theory to Application. Wrocław Meetings on Computational and Experimental Sciences” will be held at the University of Wrocław from 24 to 26 June 2025. This will be the first edition of the event, organised by the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Wrocław.
