At the University of Wrocław sport is just as important as studying. This is demonstrated by good positions of our sections in the Lower Silesian Inter-University League and the Polish Academic Championships.
The University’s athletes train in the following sections: aerobic, badminton, sports bridge, karate, croftball, women’s and men’s basketball, athletics, cross-country running, skiing, snowboard, women’s and men’s football, women’s handball, women’s and men’s swimming, women’s and men’s volleyball, chess, tennis, table tennis, floorball, rowing, and climbing. Each student may participate in the activities starting with the freshman year. UWr students can select from among 30 different forms of exercise as part of PE classes.
Information on sports, basic timetables and training schedules of sports sections at our university can be found in the tabs below. Classes are organised by the University Centre for Physical Education and Sport, and the University Club AZS UWr also provides assistance. Class schedules are visible in USOSweb, and registration takes place through the Registration System.
