Handwriting in school guidance<\/h1>\n\n\n

At the turn of April and May this year in Urbino, Italy, a series of sessions summarizing the implementation of the international HALO project (Handwriting Analysis as methodology to defend Learners creative and reinforce Orientation) financed by the European Union was held. Seven scientific institutions from Italy, Poland and Romania participated in the session. The main objective of the project is to promote handwriting research in the field of school guidance, and the impact of handwriting on the intellectual development of children and adolescents. <\/strong>For this reason, apart from scientific institutions, the participation of secondary schools (students and teachers) in the international area was essential.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The contractors of the project are: Girolamo Moretti International Institute of Graphology operating at the Carlo Bo University in Urbino, Italy (project leader), Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroc\u0142aw, Poland (leading partner of the project) and Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest, Romania (project partner) and selected high school students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following people are responsible for the implementation of the project by the University of Wroc\u0142aw:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dr Rafa\u0142 Cie\u015bla<\/strong> from the Department of Forensic Science of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroc\u0142aw – project manager (University of Wroc\u0142aw) and coordinator for international research and implementation of handwriting methodology in educational practice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

prof. dr hab. Maciej Szostak<\/strong>, head of the Department of Criminology and Security Sciences of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wroc\u0142aw – coordinator for international research and implementation of handwriting methodology in educational practice,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dr Jolanta Gr\u0119bowiec-Baffoni<\/strong> \u2013 an international subject matter expert cooperating with the project leader, lead partner and other project partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The role of a group of scientists from Poland is to verify the methods used in research and their effectiveness in the diagnostic field, and to implement them on the fields of criminology, forensic, and pedagogy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A very important goal of the project is to enter handwriting as the heritage of humanity on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In this regard, another process has been undertaken in the area of political and scientific institutions. The members of the project are working on its dissemination to scientific institutions and graphology\/writing societies around the world. In the near future, the application will be presented by representatives of the EU HALO project from G. Moretti International Institute of Graphology in the Parliament and the Chamber of Deputies, in the Ministry of Universities and Research, in Ministry of the Interior, and in Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A team of scientists from the University of Wroc\u0142aw composed of prof. M. Szostak, dr Rafa\u0142 Cie\u015bla, dr J. Gr\u0119bowiec-Baffoni would like to thank all students and teachers who participated in the project, in the training and workshops conducted, thus contributing to the implementation and development of broadly understood handwriting research in the fields of criminology, forensics and pedagogics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
