Second Artificial Intelligence Olympiad<\/h1>\n\n\n

The Artificial Intelligence Olympiad is a competition directed\u00a0to students of Polish high schools. It is also a unique opportunity to support young talents \u2013 people who are just entering the world of AI and want to expand their knowledge, gain new experiences and develop their skills at the highest level. The aim of the competition is to popularize the key knowledge and technologies underlying artificial intelligence. The first stage will begin on February 17. You can register your participation until February 15 via the oai.cs.uni.wroc.pl website<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The co-organizers of the Olympiad are four leading Polish universities: the University of Wroc\u0142aw, the Jagiellonian University, the University of Warsaw and Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144, and a large team of top scientists supervises the creation of tasks, training and substantive supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 We want the Olympiad to be a project which is similar in scale and importance to other subject Olympiads, such as the Mathematics and Computer Science Olympiad. Polish programmers are renowned around the world and the Olympics have contributed to this success. We believe that in a short time our Olympiad will be one of the most significant competitions for students interested in science \u2013 the organizers emphasize. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first edition of the Olympiad, organized in 2024, turned out to be a spectacular success \u2013 Polish students won gold and bronze medals at the international team competition in Bulgaria and first place in the general classification of the international individual competition in Saudi Arabia. These successes were widely commented on in the media, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland personally congratulated the winners on his social media. This year, the organizers will select the national teams that will represent Poland at the international team competition in Beijing <\/a>and individual competitions in Slovenia<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 17, the first stage of the Olympiad will begin, which will last until March 22. \u2013 It will consist of solving tasks on various topics in the field of AI. The tasks usually concern real problems and have specially prepared data sets. Participants must write, train, and then test the artificial intelligence algorithms they have created. Solutions are submitted by the Olympiad’s IT system. The entire stage takes place remotely. The next stages are held stationary \u2013 explain the organizers. Individual stages will take place in Wroc\u0142aw, Pozna\u0144, Krak\u00f3w and Warsaw. The next stage is the regional stage which will be held from April 26 to April 27. The final will take place in Wroc\u0142aw from May 30 to June 2. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Artificial Intelligence Olympiad is supported by the Ministry of Digital Affairs<\/a> and the Wroc\u0142aw Academic Centre.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
