23rd Not only Slavic Song Contest
On 13 May 2026, the 23rd edition of the Not only Slavic Song Contest will take place in the Oratorium Marianum, organised by the Institute of Slavic Studies, SKNR WroSlawianie, the Culture and Art Centre in Wrocław, International Office of the University of Wrocław, and the Student and Doctoral Activity Support Section of the University of Wrocław. The contest has been granted the Honorary Patronage of the UWr Rector, prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz.
We invite students and doctoral candidates from all universities, Polish and foreign, including students participating in the Erasmus+ programme. On the stage, next to the contest’s participants, invited guests and representatives of the teaching staff will also perform.
The Contest is open for a broad range of the stage, popular and actors’ music. The use of classical music is permitted, as long as the song is not strictly meant for classical repertoire.
The event consists of 2 stages:
1. Preliminary round – based on sent applications.
2. The concert – final performance by selected participants in Oratorium Marianum.
The participants who qualified for the second stage of the contest will be informed about the details of the performance in advance. The finalists will present the same song that they submitted in their application form.
Applications are accepted until 21 April 2026. To participate in the contest, the online application form must be submitted and the participant must familiarise themselves with the Contest Regulations.
