3rd Nationwide Congress of Security Education
In the year marked by the war happening to the West of our borders, an increase in hybrid threats and a redefinition of the international order, Wrocław will become the Polish centre of debate about security. The 3rd Nationwide Congress of Security Education will be held on October 22-23, 2025, and guarantees to gather the highest-ranking researchers and practitioners, as well as service and administrative representatives, in order to answer the questions about the country’s resilience, successful tactics of deterrence, social and informational security, and the quality of research within this discipline.
Why is this Congress special?
The Congress of Security Education is a nationwide forum that brings together the scientific community, analytical centres, uniformed services, and decision makers, which ensures the event’s prestige and adequate scale. The programme concentrates on current geopolitical challenges – from the consequences of the Russian attack on Ukraine, through the analysis of the decisions being made within international alliances, to solutions for ensuring the safety of both civilians and the economy under hybrid pressure, such as the one that Poland is presently facing. The aim of the forum is to devise recommendations for public policies and safety practices that could later be implemented on a local, national and international level.
The event is organised by the University of Wrocław and the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces, with over 40 other institutions as co-organisers – including other higher education facilities and educational institutions.
The event is also under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, the Ministry of National Defence, the National Police Headquarters, the Governor of Lower Silesia, the Marshal of Lower Silesia Voivodeship, the Government Centre for Security and the Rectors: Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz, and the Military University of Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Dr Marek Tomaszycki, prof. AWL.
We cordially invite experts, media, administrative, service, and business representatives to participate in and to cover the proceedings of the Congress. Together let us build resilience and safety based on knowledge, facts and cooperation.
