Scientific conference “Les survivances et les racines de Molière” (photo report)
Today, 6 October 2022, the Institute of Roman Studies launched a two-day scientific conference on the works of Molière at its premises. The conference was organised to mark the 400th anniversary of the birth of the French father of modern theatre. The conference brings together guests from home and abroad: theatre scholars, philologists and art historians. The event is co-organised with the Henryk Tomaszewski Theatre Museum and the French Institute in Poland. Below is a photo-report from the first day of the conference, which was attended, among others, by Frédéric Billet, Ambassador of France to Poland, and prof. dr hab. Artur Błażejewski, Vice-Rector for research. We warmly encourage you to participate in the remaining panels!
