Interview with dr Wioletta Nowaczewska

Dr Wioletta Nowaczewska from the Department of Human Biology collaborated scientifically with dr Mateja Hajdinjak who is part of the team of this year’s Nobel Prize winner in physiology and medicine, Prof. Svante Pääbo. The research concerned the analysis of mitochondrial DNA of Neanderthals discovered in Poland.

In an interview with the naukawpolsce.pl portal, a researcher from the UWr talked about the Nobel Prize winner’s contribution to the study of human evolution, the development of his work, and the new opportunities this opened up for physical anthropology, which our scientist from the Faculty of Biological Sciences focuses on.
