After listening to the anthem Gaude Mater Polonia, the Rector greeted the guests.

The most important part of the ceremony was the laudations in honour of the Jubilarians. After each speech, the Rector renewed the doctorate and presented the Jubilarians with an occasional diploma. The Dean and promoters also offered their congratulations. Laudations in honour of the Jubilarians were delivered by: dr hab. Jacek Szczepanski, prof. UWr for prof. Teresa Oberc-Dziedzic, dr hab. Marek Awdankiewicz, prof. UWr for prof. Andrzej Grodzicki, prof. Piotr Migoń for prof. Jan Łoboda and dr hab. Piotr Gunia, prof. UWr for prof. Michał Sachanbiński. Due to health reasons, prof. Andrzej Grodzicki could not attend the ceremony. However, the participants had the opportunity to see and listen to a lively speech prepared earlier by the professor, with fascinating stories and anecdotes from the life of the University. The jubilarians in the hall also spoke, expressing gratitude for the memories and sharing them with the guests. After the Rector closed the ceremony and the gathered listened to the Gaudeamus Igitur, the procession left Aula Leopoldina. Immediately after the conclusion of the official part of the ceremony, it was time for commemorative photos, congratulations and wishes for the distinguished Jubilarians. Afterwards, there was a meeting at the Oratorium Marianum. The gathered guests could watch a multimedia presentation with photos of the Jubilarians both from defending their doctoral dissertations and from later periods. The merits of the Professors were celebrated with a symbolic glass of wine.
