Artist residency at the Pilecki Institute in Germany
In February 2023, the Pilecki Institute in Berlin is organising an interdisciplinary residency programme for philosophers, historians, researchers, artists and authors from Ukraine, Poland and Germany. The programme is designed for people aged 20 to 45.
The Russian war against Ukraine has tested our understanding of shared values, exposed differences and confronted us with questions of what security, freedom and solidarity are. The aim of this programme is to explore the individual roots of how and why we think about Europe and to create a space for dialogue and cooperation.
The six-day programme will take place over four days in Genshagen and two days in Berlin. Travel and subsistence costs will be covered by the organisers.
Recruitment of participants for the programme continues until 30 December. Please see the appendixes for details.
