Book talks
The Department of Bohemian Studies at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the University of Wrocław invites you to participate in reading meetings, which will be held on the last Thursday or Friday of the month at 12:00 (the exact schedule will be determined soon). The meetings are informal and open for everybody interested. The only condition for participation is to read the text or texts scheduled for a given meeting. All books to be discussed are translated into Polish and should be available to read in libraries. A detailed list, along with scans of some of the texts, can be found on the MS Teams „Rozmowy o książkach” (“Book Talks”) channel.
At the first meeting – on January 26 at 12:00 – the short story Dimanche à Paris by Vladimír Binar and an excerpt from Austerlitz by W.G. Sebald will be analyzed (both texts are available on the channel).
