Scientific excellence has no gender- conference at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań
The Academy of Young Scientists of the Polish Academy of Sciences in cooperation with the National Science Centre, Center for Research on Women Participation in Public Space at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Polish Science Contact Agency “PolSCA” of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels organise the conference “Scientific excellence has no gender”, which will take place on 10 February 2023 at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
The aim of the conference is to draw attention to the problem of inequality between women and men in various aspects of science practice, e.g.: the problems of young parents (especially women) or caretakers of dependent science practitioners. The conference is the inaugural event of the Academy of Young Scientists’s long-term programme under the same banner, which will aim to tackle gender inequality in Polish science.
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
