Successes of UWr players

The AZS sports hall of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław has hosted players from Lower Silesian universities three times this season at the Lower Silesian Intercollegiate Table Tennis League. After 3 editions, both male and female players of the University of Wrocław have won top places as a team. For the women, 1st place was won by Karolina Dukowska, Oliwia Trąbka, Łucja Tkacz and Katarzyna Borszowska. The men’s team took 2nd place thanks to the very good play of our representatives: Prof. Paweł Borszowski, Patryk Jędrzejak, Andrei Rahalevich, Paweł Skotnik and Mateusz Rzepecki.

Last weekend (18-19.03.2023), the semi-finals of the Polish Academic Table Tennis Championships were again held at the University of Life Sciences hall. After a very fierce battle, the women placed 13th. The men, on the other hand, won all their matches in their group and thus entered the quarter-finals. In the end, they took fourth place and were promoted to the Polish Academic Championships Final. The men’s team was additionally supported by Maciej Łuczyk and the women’s team by Zuzanna Martyniak. The final of the AMP in table tennis will take place on 14-15.05.2023 in Gdańsk.
