Polish Academic Swimming Championships

In 15 years, there have not been so many medals!

In the women’s 4 x 50 m medley swimming relay, students Maja Śliwa, Maria Bujak, Wiktoria Bałys and Marta Brzozowska came 3rd in the university category and 9th in Poland. In the 4 x 50 m freestyle relay, with a brilliant time of 1:40.64, UWr students became the 5th relay team within their competition in Poland and the 2nd in the university category! The line-up consisted of Aleksandra Górnicka, Kacper Cieślak, Aleksandra Kościelniak and Wiktor Kopacki.

There were also individual medals.

Wiktor Kopacki won a silver medal for his 50 m freestyle performance in the university category. Aleksandra Górnicka won a silver medal for her 50 m backstroke in the university category, which placed her in the z position in Poland. Aleksandra Kościelniak came 2nd in the 50 m backstroke and won a gold medal in the university category. Martyna Jakubczak placed third in the 50 m butterfly stroke.

The University of Wrocław became the 7th university in Poland and won 3rd place in the university category!
