
E-business law! A NEW field of study!
In the academic year 2023/2024, the University of Wrocław extends its offer of fields of study. Among the new ones, we have for candidates is the field of study of e-business law at the first-cycle studies in a part-time form conducted at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics of the University of Wrocław. The language of instruction is Polish.
E-business law studies are a combination of knowledge in the field of law as well as economics and finance. The overall objective of the studies is the development of digital and legal competences necessary in modern business. The study programme includes subjects thanks to which you will acquire knowledge, competences and skills that will be useful in running your own business, providing professional consultancy or performing your duties as an employee in the dynamically developing ICT (information and communication technology) or e-commerce (electronic commerce) sector.
During the basic or optional classes, you will learn about the most important civil, criminal and administrative law regulations relating to the digital transformation of economic turnover. You will learn, among other things, about the regulations of the financial sector, including tax law important for entrepreneurs, the legal relations of employment and social law related to digital transformation (remote working, elements of work-life balance), or you will learn about the legal aspects of the development of artificial intelligence and new technologies and the benefits and risks associated with their development. You will learn how to draft, among other things, contracts, letters on business-related administrative matters, applications for funding of an e-business project, data management.
The wide range of courses offered includes, among others:
- Business Intelligence,
- cyber-security,
- e-business in the EU single market,
- electronic business contracts,
- Internet marketing,
- provision of electronic services,
- personal data protection and security policies,
- e-business strategies and models,
- implementation contract,
- IT systems maintenance contracts,
- data management.
What you get after graduation:
As an e-business law graduate, you can join the ranks of entrepreneurs running or managing online businesses or take up employment in companies in the broader ICT sector, including those related to business, legal, administrative and financial information processing.
Scientific associations:
You will broaden your interests in one of the 31 scientific associations operating at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics. As a UWr student, you can develop in all the scientific associations and student organisations that interest you, regardless of your field of study. There are more than 170 scientific associations at our university.
