Success of the Faculty of Biotechnology in the charity run
The running team representing the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Wrocław took 4th place in the stationary run in the mixed team category in the 11th Charity Corporate Run (relay 5×5 km), which was held on 13 May. This is a huge success considering that as many as 939 teams competed in this category.
The idea behind the run is to promote healthy competition and physical activity through running, integration and cooperation within the company and between companies, and above all to help charity for sick and disabled children. The main initiator and organiser of the run is the Everest Foundation.
The biotechnologists achieved a time of 1:50:08.
