
Scientific conference on parliamentary elections
In connection with the upcoming parliamentary elections, we would like to invite you to a scientific conference entitled „Wybory Parlamentarne 2023 w Polsce: Wyzwania – Kontekst – Strategie” (‘Parliamentary Elections 2023 in Poland: Challenges – Context – Strategies’), which will take place on 30 and 31 May 2023 at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Wrocław. The conference will have a hybrid format allowing for in-person or online participation.
On the first day of the conference, a political debate will take place in the auditorium of the Institute of Political Science, featuring representatives of the six largest political parties sitting in parliament. As part of the conference, there will also be panel discussions in room 23 of the Institute of Political Science, which will be attended by well-known Polish and foreign experts. Discussions will focus on the strategy of creating electoral lists, the course of the campaign, the issue of the rule of law or the significance of the outcome of the Polish elections for the future of the European Union. The event is organised by the Jean Monnet Chair of European Studies and the Institute of Politics at the University of Wrocław in cooperation with the Scientific Association of Interdisciplinary European Studies and the Scientific Association Europe Project.
