University Run of the Medical University of Wrocław
The Vice-Rector for Relations Building and External Cooperation of the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław cordially invites the entire community of the University of Wrocław to participate in this year’s seventh edition of the University of Wrocław Medical University Run.
The event will take place on 30 September 2023 at 9:00 a.m., and its centre will be the Running Town on the premises of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Piastów Śląskich Medical University in Wrocław at ul. Bartla 5.
This cyclical event has become part of the celebrations of the inauguration of the new academic year and has been ranked as one of the most important sporting events in Lower Silesia.
Realising one of the aims of its strategy, which is to have an effective impact on its surroundings in terms of education and health care, the Medical University also wants to draw the public’s attention this year to the role of a healthy lifestyle, regular preventive examinations and the positive impact of physical exercise on health.
Traditionally, the competition will be held on an approved 10 km course. This year, the runners will compete on a new route leading along the bed of the Old Oder River towards Kąpielisko Morskie Oko, the green areas of Szczytnicki Park and the facilities of the Olympic Stadium complex, and from Pól Marsowe towards Wrocławskie Pergola.
