The Doctoral School of the University of Wrocław invites all interested in doctoral studies at the Doctoral School, and especially doctoral students in the first two years of training, to the Open Day “Get to know the Doctoral School”. The event will take place on Tuesday 7 November in the University Library (conference room 3) at 9:00.
The meeting will address issues related to the course of training at the Doctoral School, dissertation preparation, implementation and grant PhDs, publishing with the University of Wrocław Publishing House and evaluation.
All questions will be answered by:
- Vice-Rector for research, prof. dr hab. Artur Błażejewski,
- the Rector’s plenipotentiary for doctoral studies, dr. hab. Robert Klementowski, prof. UWr,
- Head of the Science Department, dr Adrianna Michalewska,
- Director of the University of Wrocław Publishing House, mgr Marcin Skrabka,
- representatives of the Technology Transfer Centre and the Doctoral Student Self-Government.
At 12:00 there will be a training session on library basics conducted by the Scientific Information Branch of the University Library.
