In the winter semester, the Academic Career Office invites you to participate in two extra-curricular subjects:

Design your career

The subject consists of 10 meetings with labor market specialists, in which we address the most important elements that affect our functioning in the labor market.

The lecturers of the subject Design Your Career are practitioners of the labor market who work in enterprises, corporations and are business owners, as well as university teaching staff – representatives of various departments and specialties, who combine academic knowledge with the realities of the labor market.

For participation in classes (confirmed by attendance) you can receive 1 ECTS. You need to enroll via USOS!

Training for effective teamwork

A course dedicated to improving teamwork competencies. Participants will learn and practice a number of techniques and strategies for effective teamwork. These skills will be useful to all those who plan to manage a team, lead or simply want to effectively support others.

For participation in classes (confirmed by attendance) you can receive 2 ECTS. You need to enroll via USOS!

The subject will consist of five classes:

1. communication
2. cooperation
3. conflict
4. trust
5. leadership

There are two groups to choose from:

– I Tuesday group (4PM-7PM)
– II Thursday group (4PM-7PM).

Registration for both subjects in USOS until 5 November 2023.

All students can enroll – regardless of faculty.

The subjects are offered by the Academic Career Office of the University of Wrocław.

The rules for the implementation of each of the extra-curricular subjects are regulated by ORDINANCE No. 145/2023 of the Rector of the University of Wrocław of 7 June 2023 on the introduction of extra-curricular subjects: “Entrepreneurship – success stories”, “Design your career”, University Dragons’ Den” and “Training of effective teamwork”.
