University Legal Clinic is operating on-site once more!

We have the pleasure to announce that the University Legal Clinic has resumed its on-site activities and is ready to provide legal assistance to clients again.

Office hours will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 15:30 to 18:30 at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at ul. Więzienna 10/12 (the building with a plaque reading “Uniwersytecka Poradnia Prawna “), in room 104.

University Legal Clinic, which operates at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, prepares legal advice on various areas of Polish law, such as civil law (inheritance, property, obligations, including contracts), family law (cases involving alimony, divorce, separation, etc.), housing, social security, labor law, criminal law and other types. The advice is provided to individuals in writing. The clinic does not provide advice on how to start or run a business.

The advice is provided by final-year law students under the supervision of the academic teachers of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics. The clinic provides help to individuals who do not have sufficient financial resources to pay for legal services. When seeking help here, a person can receive free legal advice, and at the same time provides an opportunity for students to acquire practical skills and knowledge on how pro bono legal counseling works. Apply if you:
– you find yourself in a difficult situation;
– you are struggling with a problem concerning a legal issue in your daily life;
– you think it would be useful for you to know the legislation;
– you need advice on how to resolve a property, family, official or other legal matter;
– you cannot afford the cost of paid legal services.

Additionally, regardless of the clinic operating on-site, it is possible to obtain advice:
– by email (the e-mail address is upp@uwr.edu.pl);
– by letter (postal address of the clinic: Uniwersytecka Poradnia Prawna, ul. Uniwersytecka 22/26, 50-145 Wrocław)

Updated information about the on-site activities of the clinic, as well as the terms and conditions and the application form, can be found on the website. To speed up the procedure for accepting a case, it is advisable to print out the form available on the website and fill it out, then come to the clinic during office hours with an already filled out form.
