Best Paper Award in Mathematics 2023 for prof. Mariusz Mirek!

We are pleased to announce that prof. Mariusz Mirek from the UWr Institute of Mathematics, together with Ben Krause from the University of Bristol and Terence Tao from UCLA, have been awarded the Best Paper Award in Mathematics 2023 for their article Pointwise ergodic theorems for non-conventional bilinear polynomial averages.

The award will be presented at the International Congress of Chinese Mathematicians to be held in Shanghai in January.
