In solidarity with Charles University in Prague

The academic community of the University of Wrocław has received with great sadness the dramatic news of the events at Charles University in Prague. In view of the deaths of many people, it is impossible to find the right words, but right now, from the vibrant student capital of Lower Silesia, we extend our solidarity and sympathy to our colleagues in Prague.

For every university, the fundamental value is life, and freedom and the possibility of intellectual development are only further elements that make up the world of values. Let the words of support flow from Wrocław: we are thinking of you, we are with you, just like you – we do not understand.
