Learn about the People of Science project

National Information Processing Institute – the National Research Institute prepares the People of Science platform on behalf of the Polish Ministry of Education and Science, which is to be the largest knowledge base on Polish science. It features researcher profiles with comprehensive information on their academic careers and achievements, including publication output. For more information on the People of Science project, please visit https://ludzie.nauka.gov.pl/#o-projekcie.

Following a decision by the Ministry, the publication data included in the Polish Scholarly Bibliography’s Author Profiles should migrate to the contents of the People of Science. To ensure the informativeness and integrity of the data in this process, the PBN will cease to allow editing as of February 29 this year – users will no longer be able to add, update, or delete publications in the Author Profiles.

Their content will remain visible to PBN users until the migration is complete. Following this process, the Meet Polish Scientists tab within the People of Science will replace the existing Author Profiles. As a consequence, the Author Profiles will no longer be featured in Polish Scholarly Bibliography.
