The registration to the Academic Legion starts at the University of Wrocław
After a long time of anticipation, the 7th edition of the Academic Legion is starting. The project offers the possibility to undergo voluntary military training for students passionate about military affairs. After taking military oath, participants will be able to obtain the reserve corporal rank. Acquirement of such military rank will be valuable for students who pursue a future career in the uniformed services. Currently, academic institutions organize non-commissioned officer (NCO) level training. The participants are required to have Polish citizenship, be a student of a higher education institution, and take a military oath confirmed by an entry to a military service book.
Similarly to previous years, University of Wrocław will report the readiness for participation in the program of the Academic Legion.
Individuals interested in participating in the NCO module should sign up through MS Teams to a group called “Szkoła Legii Akademickiej w Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim” [Academic Legion of the University of Wrocław] and fill out an application form available in the group files on MS Teams. The form is editable and must be completed from computer.
The hand-written forms will not be considered.
A completed, printed, and signed application form must be submitted to the Secretariat of the Institute of International and Security Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, ul. Koszarowa 3, room 209, tel.: 71/375 51 37, 71/375 51 36. The number of places is limited.
