Success of UWr team in programming championships

The UWr team composed of: Krzysztof Boryczka, Antoni Buraczewski, Łukasz Pluta, ranked 5th and won the bronze medal in the first ever European Team Programming Championships!

The competition took place last weekend at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Nearly 60 teams from the best and most well-known European universities participated, selected on the basis of the results of the regional competition. The team from Warsaw won. Detailed results are available HERE.

Our team solved 8 out of 11 tasks during the five-hour competition, but a little slower than the teams that took places 2-4 – emphasise the young computer scientists from the University of Wrocław and add that in 3 weeks’ time, the UWr team composed of: Anadi Agrawal, Adam Górkiewicz, Łukasz Pluta will take part in the 2023 World Championships in Team Programming, which will be held in Luxor, Egypt.

In September, the UWr team, with the same line-up as at the European championships, will take part in the 2024 World Team Programming Championships, which will be held in Astana in
Kazakhstan.

Congratulations and we wish you continued success!
