Presentation of the Act of Election as Rector
On Wednesday, 24 April 2024, a ceremony of presentation of the Act of Election to prof. Robert Olkiewicz as Rector, for the term 2024-2028, took place in the UWr Senate Hall.
Dr hab. Jacek Kaczor, Chairman of the University Electoral Commission, wished the Rector, Prof Robert Olkiewicz, strength, perseverance and satisfaction in the performance of his duties as he presented the act of election.
During a brief ceremony, the UWr Rector thanked the members of the University Electoral Committee for their professional work and his closest colleagues for their support during the election campaign.
We have done a lot, now let’s do more together – concluded prof. Robert Olkiewicz, recalling the guiding principle of his campaign. At the same time, he pointed out that during the Senate meeting that had just concluded, a resolution on the rules of studies had been adopted, and in this way one of the points from the election programme related to teaching had been realised.
The election meeting of the University Electoral College was held on 22 March 2024.
