Elections of dean authorities
Candidates for deans have already been formally elected at four UWr faculties. Once the elections have been approved by the University Electoral Commission, the Rector will appoint the new deans on 1 September, in addition to the three deans from the faculties that were created after the division of the Faculty of Letters. In the Faculty of Letters, the Faculty of Social Communication and Media and the Faculty of Neophilology, elections will be held in October and November.
Last week, the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics – prof. Jacek Przygodzki, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science – prof. Dariusz Buraczewski, the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences – prof. Paweł Klint, the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Management – prof. Maciej Kryza – had already elected their candidates for deans.
Another election is ahead. Candidates for deans will be selected by the faculties by 30 June.
