Cooperation agreement with the University of Georgia
The University of Wrocław and Sokhumi State University of Tbilisi (Georgia) have solemnly confirmed their willingness to continue their ongoing cooperation from 2019.
The cooperation agreement was signed in 2019 by then UWr Rector prof. Adam Jezierski and prof. Zurab Khonelidze, Rector of Sokhumi University. On 23 May 2024, the agreement on the continuation of cooperation was signed by the UWr Rector prof. Robert Olkiewicz and, on behalf of the Georgian university authorities, prof. Indira Dzagania, director of the international cooperation office of Sokhumi University.
The agreement was signed in the presence of UWr Vice- Rector prof. Stefan Kiedroń and the head of the UWr International Office, Urszula Broda.
The rectors also became members of the Georgian Academy of Educational Sciences. Prof. Indira Dzagania presented the rectors with the relevant confirmations.
