The Faculty of Biotechnology team finishes high in Bieg Firmowy

On 11th of May 2024, the 12th charity Bieg Firmowy [eng. Company Run] took place. It was a 5 x 5 kilometers relay. The idea behind the run was to promote a healthy rivalry and physical activity among the employees through running, integration and cooperation within and between companies. Above all, however, it was to contribute to charity for disabled and ill children. The main originator and organiser has been the Everest Foundation.

The „Biotechnology” running team (relay team no. 1214), representing the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Wrocław, finished 19th amongst 1137 all teams from mixed-teams category. The team consisted of Michał Majkowski, Bernhard Kepplinger, Oleksandr Rachynskyi, Maciej Szostok, Katarzyna Kurecka.
