Appeal of the school-leaving exams results and university admissions

Secondary school leavers! Maybe some of you have requested to see your matriculation exam and have your work checked again. If you are in such a situation and are wondering how this relates to university admissions at the University of Wrocław, we have already explained.

If you have not been accepted to a particular field of study due to an insufficient number of recruitment points and, after a re-sit of your school-leaving exams, your recruitment points increase, you will be able to appeal against the results of your enrolment at our university. Of course, you must have at least the same number of points as the last person on the ranking list who was admitted to the field of study! In this case, the appeal will be considered in your favour.

The appeal in writing should be submitted or sent:

– within 14 days of the date of notification of the decision
– or within 7 days of the date of issue of the correction to the secondary school leaving certificate (in addition, the application should state the reasons why it was not possible to submit the appeal earlier and a request should be made for the time limit for submitting the appeal to be restored)

to the address:
Uniwersytet Wrocławski,
Dział Nauczania,
Plac Uniwersytecki 1,
50-137 Wrocław

We would like to remind you that, pursuant to § 5 para. 3 of the Resolution No. 171/2023 of the Senate of the University of Wrocław of 21 June 2023 on the rules and procedures for the recruitment of Polish citizens to study at the University of Wrocław commencing in the academic year 2024/2025 (as amended), the basis for an appeal may only be an indication of a breach of the conditions and procedures for the recruitment to the degree programme and a case where the result of the matriculation examination for the degree programme – after verification by the Regional Examination Board or after the acceptance of an appeal by the Examination Arbitration Board – has been increased.
