University of Wrocław receives funding for commercialisation

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the results of the call for Partners for the implementation of Task 1 ‘Development Incubator’, as part of the project ‘Science4Business – Science for Business’.

We would like to inform that the University of Wrocław has, for the first time, been qualified for a task aimed at increasing the University’s effectiveness in cooperation with business and commercialisation of R&D results. We have achieved a high 4th place out of 34 total applications. We will implement the task as a partner in a consortium together with Wrocław University of Science and Technology (consortium leader) and the University of Zielona Góra (partner). The budget of the consortium provided for in the project is over PLN 9 million, including PLN 3 million for the UWr.

Thanks to the funds from the project, our University will be able to provide greater support for scientific research and solutions with commercialisation potential.

On the part of our University, the application was prepared and will be implemented by the Technology Transfer Centre team with the support of the Vice-Rector for research.
