UWr has received 2 million in funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange for European Universities programme!

The programme aims to strengthen partnerships and the role of Polish higher education institutions in the alliances concluded under the European Universities Initiative in the Erasmus+ programme.

The programme will run from 1.10.2024 to 30.09.2026, during which time the following tasks are planned:

1. preparation of 3 joint study programmes with partners from the Arqus Alliance;
2. twinning – study visits of ‘twinned’ groups of students with a mentor to/from Arqus universities;
3. mentoring for doctoral students – trips to Arqus universities to co-supervise doctoral theses or cotutelle dissertations and internship stays at a partner university under the supervision of a co-supervisor;
4. researcher networking – mobility of academic staff aiming at joint grant applications, research, publications;
5. workshops for students from all Arqusa universities called The Art of Being Together;
6. micro-certification training for academic and administrative staff of the Alliance universities;
7. a workshop for the staff of the international cooperation offices of Arqusa universities: communication skills as key to building good cooperation.
