Young Researcher Competition launched
From 1 October, applications can be submitted for the ‘Young Researcher 2023-2025’ grants, which aim to support students and doctoral students at the University of Wrocław by facilitating their contacts with the international community.
An amount of PLN 1 million per year between 2023 and 2025 has been allocated for all the scientific activities included in the competition.

Grant applications for:
1) to cover the costs of active participation in an international scientific conference or competition;
2) To cover the costs of participation in an international event for the advancement of knowledge and scientific competence;
3) to cover the costs of a stay in a foreign university or scientific research institution (from one to four weeks) in order to carry out scientific research that will result in the preparation of a publication or a grant application financed by an external institution;
4) funding for the organisation of international scientific schools or workshops may be submitted by all eligible students and doctoral students of the University of Wrocław within the scope of items. 1,2 and 3 and employees in the scope of pt. 4.

Applications for grants to cover the costs of active participation in an international scientific conference or international competition (point 1) shall be submitted and considered continuously from 01.10.2024 to 30.06.2025. The last day to submit applications for the academic year 2024/2025 is 15 June 2025. Applications submitted in a given month will be processed by the 15th of the following month.
Applications for the three remaining grant categories (items 2-4) can be submitted between 1 October 2024 and 28 February 2025 and will be considered by 15 March 2025.
The results of the Competition will be published on the website.
The ‘Initiative of Excellence – Research University’ (IDUB) programme is funded by the funds allocated by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to the University of Wrocław for the period 2020-2026.
