Founded in 1993 by the legendary Jan Ślęk, the J. Strauss Festival Orchestra of Wrocław will play in the magnificent interiors of the University. On the stage will perform outstanding soloists straight from the Viennese opera houses Alexandra Reinprecht (soprano) and Franz Guertelshmied (tenor) In word and baton, the concert will be conducted by the inimitable maestro Bartosz Żurakowski The programme includes the most beautiful arias, duets, marches, waltzes and czardashes Let yourself be swept up in a whirl of dance
The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of the University of Wrocław, prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz, and under the patronage of the Honorary Consul of Austria, dr Edward Wąsiewicz.
Tickets cost PLN 90 and PLN 60 (concessionary for UWr employees). Tickets can be purchased on the website.
