The Open Science Week at the University Library of Wrocław
The next international Open Access Week will take place from 21 to 27 October 2024. To mark the occasion, the Wrocław University Library has prepared events to promote Open Science, including a contest and meetings with representatives of leading publishers that the University of Wrocław subscribes to.
To participate in Open Access at BUWr, the library staff invites all UWr staff, postgraduates and students. All meetings are conducted free of charge, but for organizational reasons, please register your participation in advance. Links to register can be found below.
CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge University Press journals in open access
– Meeting with Mr. Leszek Czerwiński, representative of the Publishing House.

OXFORD
Publishing in scientific journals
– meeting with Ms. Marzena Giers-Fidler from the publishing house Oxford University Press
▪ the process of publishing in OUP scientific journals
▪ issues related to: journal selection, process of submitting articles for publication
▪ preparation of the manuscript and its key sections and license selection

QUIZ
On the occasion of the international Open Access Week, we invite you to participate in a contest. You can win 20 codes for the Legimi e-reader.
To participate in the contest, answer the questions in the quiz on Open Science and Open Access issues from 21-27 October 2024. The award will be determined by the number of points earned and the time taken to complete the form.
