‘Joyful Carol Singing’ in Aula Leopoldina
On Thursday, 16 January, at 6 p.m., we would like to invite you to a concert and a joint singing of Polish and Ukrainian carols in Aula Leopoldina at the University of Wrocław, pl. Uniwersytecki. ‘Joyful Carol Singing’, an initiative of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland, is a long-standing tradition.
Once again, we will meet at the University of Wrocław to sing carols together. Among others, a children’s ensemble from Kyiv will arrive. We will also hear the phenomenal band ‘KAPUSTABAND’, which is made up of extremely talented refugee children,’ says Ihor Salomon, chairman of the Wrocław branch of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland.
Also performing during the concert will be the choir ‘La Tredici Cantante’ from the XVIII Secondary School in Wrocław, the musical group One Family and the children’s group ‘Lileja’ of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland, circle in Wrocław.
Special guests will be the band ‘Oreli’ from Kyiv and the band ‘Horpyna’ from Olsztyn.
The concert will be held under the honorary patronage of prof. Robert Olkiewicz, Rector of the University of Wrocław.
