Joint caroling in the Aula Leopoldina
For many years now, in January, lovers of Polish and Ukrainian carols and pastorals have gathered at the University of Wrocław to sing together and support each other’s spirits. This year was no different – the concert “Joyful caroling” made the Aula Leopoldina filled with a crowd of listeners.
The phenomenal band “KAPUSTABAND”, which is made up of extremely talented refugee children, sang. The choir “La Tredici Cantante” from the 18th High School in Wrocław, the musical group Jedna Rodzina and the children’s group “Lileja” of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland, Circle in Wrocław also performed.
The special guest of the concert was the children’s band “Oreli” from Kyiv and the band “Horpyna” from Olsztyn.
The “Joyful Caroling” concert is an initiative of the Union of Ukrainians in Poland. It was held under the honorary patronage of prof. Robert Olkiewicz, rector of the University of Wrocław.
