The University of Wrocław and the Council for Scientific Excellence invite you to the conference ‘Postępowania awansowe w świetle dotychczasowych doświadczeń. Praktyka organów I i II instancji’ (eng. Promotion proceedings in the light of experience to date. Practice of bodies of first and second instance), which will be held on 24 March at the Conference Centre of the Library of the University of Wrocław (room 3, ul. Fryderyka Joliot-Curie in Wrocław).

10.00 – 10.10 Welcome to participants (prof. dr hab. Robert Olkiewicz Rector of the University of Wrocław and prof. dr hab. Bronisław Sitek Chairman of the Council for Scientific Excellence);
10.10 – 10.40 Speech by prof. dr. hab. Bronisław Sitek, Chairman of the Council for Scientific Excellence on the jurisprudence of administrative courts in cases of scientific promotions;
10.40 – 11.20 Speech by prof. dr hab. Grzegorz Węgrzyn, Deputy Chairman of the Council for Scientific Excellence on the prerequisites for granting the degree of habilitated doctor and professor;
11.20 – 11.40 Speech by prof. dr hab. Mansur Rahnam-Hezavah Secretary of the Council for Scientific Excellence on the prerequisites for the conferral of the doctoral degree;
11.40 – 12.00 Presentation by dr Jerzy Deneka Director of the Council for Scientific Excellence Office on good practice in commissioning reviews;
12.00 – 12.30 Coffee break;
12.30 – 13.00 Presentation by Artur Woźniak, Head of the Council for Scientific Excellence of the Legal and Human Resources Development Department on the amendment of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
13.00 Discussion with the participation of the Conference participants;
14.30 Closing of the Conference.
