Diagnoza wrocławskich NGO – conference at the Oratorium Marianum
On Friday, 28 March, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the report ‘Model współpracy Miasta Wrocław z organizacjami pozarządowymi w okresie 2004 – 2024. W kierunku europeizacji standardów współzarządzania’ will be presented at the Oratorium Marianum (main building of the University of Wrocław, pl. Uniwersytecki 1).
The report is the result of research conducted by scientists from the University of Wrocław as part of the project: ‘Diagnoza wrocławskich NGO’, which was financed by the ‘Konkurs Wsparcia Współpracy z Otoczeniem Społeczno-Gospodarczym Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego’’.
The main contractor was the expert team of the Institute of European Studies represented by prof. dr hab. Aldona Wiktorska-Święcka, Head of the Department of Public Management and Administration.
The project was implemented in partnership with the UMBRELLA Foundation.
One of the key elements of the project was to verify the hypotheses concerning the impact of European co-management standards on the model of cooperation between non-governmental organisations and the city of Wrocław after 2004.
Among other things, it was checked whether the membership in the European Union has an impact on the local infrastructure of cooperation between the city and non-governmental organisations. If so, how strong is this impact? And to what extent does the cooperation infrastructure work more efficiently thanks to the inclusion of common European Union principles? The findings presented in the report may provide valuable guidance for future decisions regarding the directions of actions for the development of Wrocław.
The meeting will be attended by about 100 people representing the Wrocław city council, the civil sector, entrepreneurs, the world of science, culture and the media.
