From Theory to Application. Wrocław Meetings on Computational and Experimental Sciences
An international online conference entitled “From Theory to Application. Wrocław Meetings on Computational and Experimental Sciences” will be held at the University of Wrocław from 24 to 26 June 2025. This will be the first edition of the event, organised by the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Wrocław. The conference will be interdisciplinary in nature and will focus on topics in theoretical and experimental chemistry, biochemistry, and physics — particularly in the context of practical applications.
The conference will take the form of a webinar. It is open to all interested participants — including researchers, students, and representatives of industry — and free of charge. The event will bring together speakers from various scientific institutions as well as Polish companies. A wide range of scientific topics will be addressed during the conference. This year, we would like to place particular emphasis on the following areas:
* an application of computational approaches in drug design,
* description of the electronic structure and its importance in the design of new compounds with specific physicochemical properties,
* relationship between the structure and the practical application of the chemical compounds,
* magnetic properties of compounds and their application in various areas of everyday life,
* an application of artificial intelligence in science and the potential application of materials discovered for modern technologies and compounds exhibiting biological activity,
* modern methods of modeling macro-systems,
* are we able to design modern materials by in silico methods?
