Prof. Paweł Głowacki passed away

With deep sorrow, we announce that on 17 March 2024, following a long illness, prof. Paweł Głowacki passed away in Wrocław.

He was a retired professor of the University of Wrocław, an internationally respected expert and the author of outstanding works in harmonic analysis, as well as an excellent lecturer and teacher to generations of mathematicians.

We bid farewell to our colleague and friend with great sadness — a man of remarkable kindness.

The funeral service will begin on Thursday, 21 March 2024, at 1:20 p.m. in the chapel at the Osobowicki Cemetery in Wrocław.

We extend our deepest condolences to the family.
